How the Mexico Data Plan works
Our Mexico data plans run from the 5th of the month to the 4th. Unfortunately, we can only take orders in advance. Therefore you must place your order before the 3rd of the month in which you travel. For example, if traveling between March 14th and March 28th, then you MUST order a plan before March 3rd. If you wait until the 6th, we're unable to process your order. We apologize for any inconvenience. If you have any questions please phone customer service at 1-888-622-3393.

- Brightroam Mexico SIM card required.
- If you have an unlocked iPad, iPad2, iPad 3, iPhone 4 or iPhone 4s, please select the MicroSIM option.
- The Mexico SIM Card data plan does not support Blackberry devices. If you need Blackberry Enterprise Service or Blackberry Internet Service please order the International Blackberry Service
- Overage is $3.99/MB. Your card will NOT stop using data when you reach your plan's limit. If you are concerned you may exceed your limit, please order a larger plan.
- Your card will NOT stop using data when your plan expires. To ensure you are not charged the standard rate of $3.99/MB please continue renewing your plan for every month you use data in Mexico.
- The Mexico data plan is valid in Mexico only. Outside of Mexico rates of as high as $30 per MB will apply.
- If you expect to travel extensively outside of Mexico, consider the World SIM card, which provides additional data plans.

Cell Phone Requirements
Mexico Data Plan
require an unlocked GSM 900/1800/1900 or a GSM 850/900/1800/1900 compatible
cell phone. While it works with most GSM cell phones it does not work with all.
If you do not have your own unlocked GSM cell phone or are not sure if your GSM
cell phone is unlocked, visit unlocked GSM cell phones
for more information. Brightroam offers a range of world cell phones. Choose
your unlocked GSM cell phone above in the Configure
your service section. Compare world cell
phones to see which one is right for you. To take advantage of data
services, you will require a cell phone that supports
wireless data.
