How the China Data Plan works

Billing is by the calendar month. Prorated monthly billing begins on the day you order. You are then billed for the entire following month. E.g. if you order on March 15, you will be billed for 16 days (with 16 days of the data quota) in March plus the month of April. You can renew as many months as you like.

You also need to know

• Brightroam China SIM Card required.
• If you have an unlocked iPad, iPad2, iPad 3, iPhone 4 or iPhone 4s, please select the MicroSIM option.
• Overage is $0.25/MB. Your card will NOT stop using data when you reach your plan's limit. If you are concerned you may exceed your limit, please order a larger plan.
• Your card will NOT stop using data when your plan expires. To ensure you are not charged the standard rate of $0.01/kb ($10.24 /MB), please continue renewing your plan for every month you use data in China.
• The China data plan does not apply to Blackberry devices. If you need Blackberry Enterprise Service or Blackberry Internet Service please order the International Blackberry Service.
• Unused data cannot be carried over.
• All plans are valid only in China. Outside China roaming rates of as high as $13.00 per MB will apply. If you expect to travel outside of China consider the World SIM card, which provides additional data plans.
