What you need to know:

• To activate a data plan you must also purchase the corresponding SIM card.
• SIM cards and data plans arrive pre activated unless specified other words.
• SIM cards are active for 90 days.
• SIM card activation extensions can be purchased at checkout.
• Data plans will not work if the SIM card activation has expired.
• Data plans are billed monthly and are prorated.
• Any unused data will not carry over to the next month.
• Use with iPhones/iPads, Android devices, PC data sticks and MiFi devices.
• Not compatible with Blackberry - See International Blackberry Service
• Increased rates apply to data used outside Switzerland.
• Overages: $0.60/MB

How to order the Switzerland data plan:

• Add the Switzerland SIM Card to your cart.
• Choose how long your SIM is to be active.
• Choose a data plan option from the menu.

What can you do with 1 GB? All of the following:

Estimate only. File sizes, and web page sizes, vary.

All calls are billed per minute in full minute increments.
Incoming calls include calls answered by voicemail.
SMS/text messages are billed per message.
Calls to locations outside Switzerland are $0.99/min, and $4.99/min to: Cook Islands, Cuba, Diego Garcia, East Timor, Falklands, Gambia, Greenland, Liechtenstein, Madagascar, Maldives, Papua New Guinea, Sao Tome & Principe, Solomon Islands, Somalia, Tonga, Vanatu, Wallis and Futurna, Western Samoa.

The Switzerland data plan provides cellular internet access thorough out most of Switzerland. Coverage is especially good - and signal strength is particularly strong - in the major cities like: Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Bern, Lucerne, Lausanne, Winterthur, Lugano, St. Gallen and more...

The Switzerland data plan requires an unlocked phone or a Mi-Fi device.
To work in Switzerland, the cell phone or device must support GSM 900/1800 for voice, text and 2G GRPS, and either GSM 2100, 850 or 900 for 3G GPRS.
